If I register for Run Barefoot, do I need to register for the Nashville Rock & Roll Marathon & Half Marathon?

When is race day?
The 2020 Rock & Roll Nashville Half & Full Marathon is on April 25th.  Registration deadline is April 19th.

How much does it cost to register for the Rock & Roll Nashville Half & Full Marathon?
If you register right now - the full marathon is $89, the half-marathon is $85. There are 3 price levels for the race & change as the race gets closer.  The full marathon is $122 if you register between January 1st and April 21st. The half marathon is $102. 

What’s the deadline for registration for the race?
April 19th is the deadline.  Please note that registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Can I walk the course?
Yes.  We always have several members that sign up to walk the half marathon with our Run Barefoot team.  In addition, our training encourages all to consider walk/run strategies to complete the half marathon and full marathon.

How will I train with Run Barefoot?
Our team will provide leadership, encouragement, accountability, fellowship and a great deal of laughter through our parties, breakfasts and group runs.  Training schedules, tips and advice will be provided throughout the process.  Group runs will be organized mid-week and each Saturday with 4 key runs along the way as benchmarks for all participants.

How old do I have to be to participate in Run Barefoot?
Participants in the half and full marathon must be at least 14 years old.  Please note that the race does offer a special kids program for those in Kindergarten through 7th grade.

Do I have to raise $600 to participate in Run Barefoot?
Run Barefoot is one of several annual fundraisers for Barefoot Republic Camp, thus we humbly request that your prayerfully consider your commitment to meet or exceed your fundraising goal of $600. 

Are donations to Run Barefoot tax deductible?
Yes. Barefoot Republic Camp is recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS, thus we are dependent on donations from the public to support our ministry. Our federal tax identification number is 62-1841336.

Can my company, church or organization participate as a Run Barefoot team?
Yes. We encourage groups to form teams, or Republics, as we call them.  This is a great way to build unity and create accountability.  Plus, Run Barefoot will create fun ways for your team to compete against other Republics.  Awards and prizes will be given at our post-race party!
